Whitelisting internal email domains is a a valuable tool for maintaining the security, integrity, and ease of your organization's user verification process.
When a new user registers, their email domain is checked against your Whitelist. If their domain matches one on your list, your organization will be visible for selection to join. If not, your organization will not be made visible for request to access.
Benefits of Whitelisting
-
Enhanced Security: Only users with email addresses from trusted domains can request to join, reducing the risk of unauthorized access.
-
Simplified Onboarding: New users from approved domains can easily find and request to join your organization.
-
Improved Member Management: Administrators have better control over who can register, ensuring that only relevant users can submit an access request.
